This cool little infographic should give you even more reason to make your own food and not rely on the stuff being passed off as food for your nutrition.

Just started watching CurrentTV, really interesting channel with non-mainstream media stories.  This video gives a really interesting look at the new – and very real – drug problem in America: Prescription drug abuse.  Millions of people in America are affected every day from prescription drug abuse, directly and indirectly, and this is a topic that hits close to home for me. Over 11 people a day are dying from prescription drug overdose in Florida alone.

Disclaimer: This video is graphic and shows drug use, people getting arrested, etc…so watch at your own risk

As some of you may remember from the old site, this video is a visual representation of the credit crisis and the effects.  One of my favorite videos (and very informative).

I find a lot of things interesting, which is probably why I know a lot of random (useless) facts.  One of the things that may seem irrelevant to some, but very relevant to others, is the differences between my generation – Gen Y – and the other generations currently in the workforce.  Here are a few articles that I return to when I am struggling to understand why Boomers act the way they do.

Generational Differences at Work

Mending the Generation Gap at Work

Mixing and Managing Four Generations

and my favorite, from TIME magazine;
