I’m Nate McGuire, a Staff Engineer at Capital One in Card Tech, based in Alexandria, Virginia.
I build software and grow the teams behind it. I founded Mayven Studios, grew the team, and ran the business profitably for 10 years before selling to Saltwater / Ryan Graves.
Our work included Google X moonshot projects and Facebook’s Building 8.
Beyond the day job
I invest in startups, buy small businesses, advise founders, and help financial firms with technology due diligence. I’m interested in software architecture, engineering leadership, and turning useful ideas into working products.
